Deirdre Hudson 

Within two months after hire she was awarded the organization’s North American “Leader of Growth”. She was soon headhunted by a large national recruiting firm where she spent a near 15-year tenure with a record of five promotions and 7 “Platinum/Chairman’s Club” awards including a “Lifetime Achievement” award for branch leadership and independent top production on a national scale managing a market frequently ranked first out of 165 offices. Growing to a national Director role within the start-up division she helped build, she moved on to executive recruitment within a multi-billion Fortune 200 corporation before satisfying client requests by opening her own firm.

Deirdre brings nearly 20 years of professional talent acquisition leadership and corporate executive recruiting, HR compliance and training experience to HERS Advisors, having placed professionals in a wide range of areas, including legal, healthcare, accounting, insurance, real estate, compliance, IT, pharmaceutical and others. Throughout her career, Deirdre has built, managed and developed diverse teams operating synergistically in high-volume environments. In these roles, she has overseen budgets and negotiated national contracts in partnership with both national and international firms, and is a cost-effective professional focused on creative and strategic talent development and diversity and inclusion efforts.

A Los Angeles native, Deirdre studied international relations, sociology and history at Eleanor Roosevelt College of the University of California, San Diego, She spent a year focused on her degree at the University of Grenoble, France becoming bilingual in French later earning a professional certificate in management from Boston College in Massachusetts. After living abroad and in the International House community of UCSD for nearly 5 years, she grew increasingly committed to devoting her efforts to making a positive contribution improving representation via diversity, inclusion and belonging and to eradicating social inequality, worldwide.

In her free time, Deirdre is a devoted Auntie and mom to rescue dogs, Sasha Fierce and Cody, and splits her time between her homes in Long Beach and Coachella. In her free time, Deirdre enjoys international travel, gourmet international fusion cuisine cookery, local cultural adventures with friends and family, hiking, water sports (swimming, kayaking, sailing) and tennis in addition to spending generous quality time giving back to her community.
